Another week, another chance to win your fantasy matchup. These players are the ones you would love to put in your starting lineups and some who deserve to be on the bench this week. Here are this week's starts and sits presented by The Fan Weekly.
Quarterbacks
Start: Dak Prescott vs. Miami Dolphins
Other than Lamar Jackson, Dak Prescott has been on fire in the first two games of the season. He has thrown for seven touchdowns and he is the second ranked quarterback in fantasy football. The success should continue as the Cowboys face the Miami Dolphins at home. Miami has struggled in almost every stat and of defense, they have given up eight touchdowns and an average of more than 32 fantasy points per game. Start Dak this week against Miami.
Sit: Andy Dalton vs. Buffalo Bills
The Bengals have looked good over the first two games including Andy Dalton. Dalton is averaging 20 fantasy points and as of now, he is second in the league in passing yards. But, the Bengals have to travel to Buffalo this week and they have one of the best passing defenses in the league. Buffalo has only allowed 11.6 points a game to quarterbacks this season.
Running Backs
Start: Marlon Mack vs. Atlanta Falcons
Carries for days. Marlon Mack has gotten the football a lot in 2019 and he will be getting more this week against the Atlanta Falcons. The only reason why I would give him the start is because of the amount of carries. Fun fact: he is tied with Christian McCaffrey with 47 touches. Start him against the Falcons.
Sit: Phillip Lindsay vs. Green Bay Packers
What is going on with Phillip Lindsay? Last week, he only rushed for 36 yards and is sharing time in the backfield with Royce Freeman. This week he has to play the Green Bay Packers, who is not only playing home, but also has a brand new defense that has made some early noise. If people do start Lindsay, do it at flex, not as an RB2.
Wide Receivers
Start: Chris Godwin vs. New York Giants
Chris Godwin is having a good start to the season averaging 20 fantasy points in the first two games. Now he gets to play the New York Giants, who gave up a league-high 550 receiving yards and the third-most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. Even though Tampa Bay has struggled, Godwin looks to have another solid week with this defense.
Sit: Terry McLaurin vs. Chicago Bears
Oh look mom, a shiny new receiver. Terry McLaurin is one of the hottest receivers in the NFL right now and he looks to be a solid flex or WR2 option this season. Unfortunately, this is not the week because he has to face the Chicago Bears' defense that has only allowed an average of less than 20 points to wide receivers. Start McLaurin next week, just not against the Bears this week.
Tight Ends
Start: Greg Olsen vs. Arizona Cardinals
We have an Greg Olsen sighting everyone. Carolina threw a lot to Olsen in their Thursday Night Football game against Tampa Bay. He had six catches for 110 yards on nine targets. Now he gets to play the Arizona Cardinals, who have been shredded by T.J. Hockenson and Mark Andrews in back-to-back weeks. He looks poised for another great week in fantasy football.
Sit: Kyle Rudolph vs. Oakland Raiders
Still no sighting of Kyle Rudolph. The Vikings have become a run heavy offense now under OC Kevin Stefanski and it does not sit well for people that have Rudolph. Rudolph was lined up more as a blocker than a receiver. I would just stay away from him against the Oakland Raiders this week.
Kickers
Start: Jake Elliott vs. Detroit Lions
Now, Elliott has not had the best two weeks thus far as he has only scored 13 fantasy points in most PPR leagues. He should rebound though against the Lions as they have given up more points to opposing kickers than almost everyone else in the league. Elliot is the move this week.
Sit: Chris Boswell vs. San Francisco 49ers
Boswell has been good in 2019 and he is coming off an nine-point game against the Seahawks, but this week should be a struggle. The Niners have been a really good defense in the first two games and they have only allowed five fantasy points per game to kickers. Boswell might be good for next week against the Bengals, but not this week against the Niners.
Defense
Start: Dallas Cowboys vs. Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins are in some trouble on and off the field and this week does not get any better as they have to face the Cowboys. At this moment, Dallas is on fire and with Miami losing players left and right, the Cowboys should have a field with this team on both sides of the ball.
Sit: Baltimore Ravens vs. Kansas City Chiefs
The game of the week will be between the Ravens and the Chiefs, who are both 2-0 and have great offenses. This game will be a scorcher and both defenses should be on the bench this week. Plus, they are going against Patrick Mahomes. Be smart and don't play the Ravens' defense.
