Another fun weekend of college football has come to an end and we had some exciting moments around the country. Plus, a look at some impressive performances, baffling moments and of course, the best games of the weekend. We start in the Big 10 with the matchup of the week featuring No. 20 Iowa Hawkeyes and No. 8 Minnesota Golden Gophers.

It was a tough game between both teams, but it was the overall total sacks that were the difference in this game as the Hawkeyes forced six sacks in route to their victory over the Golden Gophers to a score of 23-19. Both quarterbacks played while especially Minnesota quarterback Tanner Morgan. Morgan threw for 368 passing yards and had one touchdown pass. The bad news of course, was getting sacked so many times throughout the game.

The Hawkeyes as mentioned were led on defense by A.J. Epenesa who had 2.5 sacks throughout the day including one forced fumble. Coming into this game, we knew both teams would be playing for a lot on the line and this game did not disappoint.

In the second game of the day, we had the No. 10 Oklahoma Sooners comeback from being down 28-3 to beating the No. 13 Baylor Bears by just three points. The final score was 34-31, but the main reason for the comeback was the fantastic plays made from Heisman candidate Jalen Hurts.

Hurts led the Sooners to a great finish, leading the way with 297 passing yards with four touchdowns. He also did some magic with his feet as well gaining 114 rushing yards on 27 attempts. Oklahoma had the ball longer than Baylor, but with the defense making plays and the offense stalling, the Sooners came roaring back to take the win.

Finally, No. 4 Georgia went to Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn to beat the No. 12 Tigers. The game was an defense performance but Georgia running back D'Andre Swift carried the Bulldogs with his legs to the victory. Swift had 106 rushing yards on 17 attempts.

In other news around college football, Alabama starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is out for the season after suffering a dislocated hip with a posterior wall fracture on Saturday.

Week 13 of the college football season has a bunch of games that are huge on the rankings and with just a couple of weeks to go, we now get to set the stage for the College Football Playoff.

To start off this week we have the No. 9 Penn State Nittany Lions traveling to Columbus to take on the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes. That game will kickoff at 12:00 p.m. ET on FOX. Finally, two hours later, the No. 19 Texas Longhorns travel to No. 13 Baylor in a Texas Showdown. That game will be on Fox Sports 1.
